Arrest of Nakeem Robinson (DOB 12/10/1993)
On 1/11/17 the Naugatuck PD served and active arrest warrant on the
accused, Nakeem Robinson of Naugatuck at Waterbury Superior court
stemming from an incident that occurred on 12/6/16.
On that date (12/6/16) the Naugatuck Police executed a search warrant
on the accused’s residence located 96 Aetna St. in Naugatuck. The
residence where the search warrant was executed is in close proximity to
Andrew Ave. School in Naugatuck. Robinson was found in the residence
along with narcotics and controlled substances which were packaged with
the intent to sell or distribute along with handgun magazines and loose
ammunition. Also discovered during the search were four (4) counterfeit
one-hundred dollar bills. All narcotics and controlled substances
located in the residence were found to be unsecured and determined to be
easily accessible to several children found to be residing at the home
ranging in age from 16 yrs old to 1 year old.
On 1/11/17 the
accused was served the arrest warrant on the following charges and
arraigned on the same date. He was then released back to the custody of
the CT Department of Corrections:
• Possession of Narcotics
• PWITS Narcotics Possession of Controlled Substance
• PWITS Controlled Substance
• PWITS within 1500' S/Z
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• RISK OF INJURY TO MINOR
• Forgery In The First Degree
• Criminal Possession of Firearm and/or Ammunition
