** BOMB THREAT **

 

January 13, 2016

The Naugatuck Walmart has been re-opened after the store was swept and cleared for business to resume.

 

At approximately 11:00 AM Naugatuck PD and Naugatuck FD were dispatched to the  Walmart store located at 1100 New Haven Road on a bomb threat that was called into the store. The building was evacuated and cleared while the building was combed.

 

The investigation into the origin of the threat is continuing and still active.

 

No further information is available at this time however we will update the status of this investigation as release-able information is received.

Naugatuck PD and Naugatuck FD are on scene of Walmart (1100 New Haven Road) on a bomb threat that was received at the store.

 

The building has been evacuated and is being combed. The investigation is active and the store will remain closed until the building is deemed safe to re-open.

 

We will update the status of this incident as the investigation progresses.
