**The Naugatuck PD and surrounding towns have experienced an increase in stolen motor vehicles. These are occurring from convenience stores and gas stations as well as residences. The Naugatuck PD reminds all Citizens to LOCK VEHICLES and to never leave cars running and unattended.
On 08/09/2018 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Vandalism inside a residence on Osborn Rd.
• A Yellow moped was seen driving through the downtown area with the operator shouting at motorists and impeding traffic.
• Britany Ln. and Marsh Hill Rd. vehicles gone through over the night.
