NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
The Naugatuck Police assisted the Connecticut State Police in diverting traffic around Route 8
After a fatal accident occurred between exits 27 and 28. Both
directions of traffic were diverted off of route 8 for several hours
while the CSP investigated the incident. CSP has not released the victim
information or crash details as of this posting.
The Naugatuck PD investigated several incidents of interest yesterday as follows:
• Larceny – of cell phone from the YMCA
• Solicitors – 151 Andrew Ave. Report of a solicitors / Possibly
claiming to be from Eversource – described as a white female – (A) 5’5”
tall & taller black male
