NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
***POTENTIAL EVERSOURCE EMPLOYEE SCAM***
The NPD has not received any further reports of suspected scammers
posing as Eversource Utility workers – however we did receive multiple
complaints from several residents over the weekend in the spring Street
area that advised persons claiming to be from Eversource attempted to
talk residents into letting them into their homes and also attempting to
get them to log into their computer accounts to “save them money on
their utility bills” … It appears that these are not legitimate
Eversource employees and we are asking residents to please contact us if
they have or have had someone come to their residence regarding the
same type of activity. – We further ask that you contact us AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE if this occurs so that we can make contact with these persons
to confirm their identities.
The Naugatuck PD investigated several incidents of interest yesterday as follows:
• Vandalism – To Vehicle at 933 Rubber Ave.
If anyone has information on these incidents you are urged to contact
