NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:

The Naugatuck PD reminds citizens to watch their speeds on primary and secondary roads … one of the most common complaints we hear from citizens is that cars are speeding on their roads … this a nonstop fight for police departments and the NPD is not immune …
…I can also say that I have on more than one occasion during my career heard a citizen complain about speed … and then in the not too distant future stop the same citizen for speeding …. Point being this, we all need to check our speeds … we all live busy lives and if you are like me, you are seemingly always rushing to get somewhere … Just realize that the extra speed can often make the difference between having an accident or not … and when you consider that there is an increased likelihood that the accident can involve a pedestrian / children on secondary roads …. It’s worth it to slow it down ….and check your speed

The NPD Call Activity Report is attached with some highlights below:

97 Total calls
8 Ambulance (Medical Assist Calls)
28 Door checks / Burglar Alarm checks (Residential / Commercial)

1 Motor Vehicle Accidents (None serious)
