Good Monday morning all,
Well, here it is … what some parents consider the best day of the year … THE FISRT DAY OF SCHOOL!. Those of you with smaller children I know may dis agree … after all, they are so cute when they are young and they are a true pleasure to be around …. As they move through middle school the transition begins … and yada,yada yada – you celebrate the first day of school!!
With the first day of school please use caution while driving today … Kids will waiting at bus stops and walking to schools …. And please be mindful of the flashing red lights on buses as these mean that you MUST stop!! … have a great day of school little ones – and parents, have a great day as well!!
A couple of incidents to take note of during the weekend – we issued a press release concerning a domestic incident that occurred on Saturday Morning 8/27/16 at about 5:45 AM on Rubber Ave. that involved several shots being fired into the residence. No one was injured during the incident and the suspect was located and arrested.
We also had a report come in on Sunday 8/28/16 at about 12:45 AM in which a 13 year old juvenile reported he had been robbed at gun point by an unknown suspect on General Pulaski Way near the Polish American club. This incident is still under investigation.
