Good Friday everyone
Looks like today is going to be a little warmer but rain is going to be coming (of Course!) for the weekend…
We’ve got an issue right off the bat this morning with a road closure on Prospect street at Union Street where a car vs utility pole accident has the road closed to one lane. It is expected the roadway will be affected for a few hours and will experience complete closures at times in order to repair the downed pole and wires. Please avoid the area by utilizing alternate routes.
The Thursday (06:30 am -06:30 am) NPD activity report is attached - A couple items of interest:
- We had a couple incidents with solicitors in Naugatuck reported on Lewis Circle and Oak Street. The subjects were from “Direct Energy” and “Cold Coast Cleaning” - These companies employees were all encountered by officers and advised that they need permits to solicit in Naugatuck - If anyone encounters these employees or employees soliciting from other companies please make sure to request to see the permit and if they don’t produce one contact the PD.
- A number of MV accidents were reported yesterday (not to mention the one above on Prospect Street) … Roads due have slick spots so Please leave enough time to get to your destinations.
