Press Release Update:
The name of the construction worker killed in the accident that took place on Millville Ave. yesterday (December 16, 2015) at about 1:30 PM was Luis Albaro Ortega-Ortega (DOB 6/11/1983) of Naugatuck, CT.
The incident took place in a parking area located off Millville Ave. near Lorann Drive and the deceased was operating an excavator for a local tree service that was contracted for tree removal in the parking area at the time of the accident.
The investigation into this death is active and circumstances leading up to the accident are being investigated by the Naugatuck Police Department and OSHA.
