12/26/2018 - 12/25/18 Naugatuck & Middlebury Burglaries

On 12/25/2018 at approximately 1:09 AM Naugatuck Police were dispatched to 531 North Main Street, Sunoco gas station for a report of a commercial burglary. Access was gained by kicking through the front glass door. As a result approximately 60 cartons of Newport cigarettes were taken.

Several minutes prior to this robbery, the Mobil gas station in Middlebury, Route 63 was burglarized. In that burglary, access was gained by throwing a boulder through the glass door. As a result approximately 70 “packs” of Newport cigarettes were taken.

Attached are photos of the two suspects during the Middlebury burglary (*Note that the photo quality is not great – but we have to work with what we are provided). As of right now we have no vehicle description however it appeared that the suspect may have parked up by Riverside Motors in the Naugatuck burglary.
