11/19/2018 - 11.19.18 - No Shave November.

Naugatuck Police Officers have participated in The Connecticut Cancer Foundation’s No Shave November.

While our officers normally have facial hair, for the months of November and December officers who participated were allowed to keep their facial hair and can be seen sporting beards, and our female officers by wearing flashy nail polish. As of this writing Naugatuck Officers have donated approximately $2,100 towards this fundraiser. The Connecticut Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to financially assist CT cancer patients and fund cancer research. Their goal is to assist as many CT cancer patients as possible. Over the past 31 years they have been able to provide $5 million dollars in financial aid to CT cancer patients and their families.
