**The Naugatuck PD and surrounding towns have experienced an increase in stolen motor vehicles. These are occurring from convenience stores and gas stations as well as residences. The Naugatuck PD reminds all Citizens to LOCK VEHICLES and to never leave cars running and unattended.

On 8/6/2018 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest: 
• A shoplifting at Mobile Gas Station S. Main St.
• Missing Person: Mary Sabelli (10-8-2001) **Still Missing**. 
• Naugatuck Police investigated a series of thefts from Motor Vehicles in the Indian Hills neighborhoods of town.

• 29 Patrol & School Checks / Burglar Alarm Checks (Residential / Commercial)
• 24 Motor Vehicle Enforcement Stops 
• 5 Motor Vehicle Accidents (None serious) 
• 2 Vandalisms 
• 0 Stolen MVs 
• 1 Burglaries
• No Robberies
