***WINTER PARKING BAN IS IN EFFECT***
The NPD reminds citizens and motorists that the Borough of Naugatuck parking ban is in effect and will remain in place until at least 6:00 PM tonight (12 hours after snow fall stops).

....In addition to the parking ban, Borough residents are reminded of Town Ordinance 16-8 which requires the owner / occupant of any premises to remove snow/ice from the sidewalks fronting or adjoining any street or public place within the borough....
*POWER OUTAGES IN NAUGATUCK*
Eversource Power is reporting Naugatuck to have 212 homes without power as of 5:30 AM on Thursday 3/8/18. Some road closures due to downed lines are occurring including Scott Street, Pine St, Spring St, Lewis Street, Meadow St (Dunkin Donuts Lot Included) and Woodbine Street.
NPD Reminds citizens and motorists to avoid all downed power lines or any downed trees that have contact with utility lines or poles. Please be mindful that because of the snow fall amounts some downed lines can be hard to see – please use caution when walking or driving and be aware of downed power lines or trees. .

On Wednesday 3/7/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
