Snow this morning will become heavy at times this afternoon along with gusty winds. High 34F. Winds NE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 8 to 12 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph…. TONIGHT Snow and windy conditions this evening will give way to snow showers late. Low 29F. Winds NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

LOCK YOUR CARS – DON’T LEAVE THEM RUNNING OR UNSECURED!
Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways & parking lots.

On Tuesday 3/6/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
• Missing Person Juan ESPINAL / 41 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 3/6/18) – Subject last seen walking from home on Oak Street on 2/24/18
• Evading MV – Rpt’d Tues @ 3:57 AM / Church St – Vehicle struck Street lamp post, tree and bench – Vehicle debris indicates a “tan” NV was involved – Vehicle will have obvious missing parts and heavy front end damage
• Shoplifting Suspect – Rpt’d Tues at 5:22 AM / Cumbies N. Main St – Suspect fled in MV and struck employee in leg with car as leaving – Described as older silver vehicle / Partial CT Reg plate of “AL520” provided
