walkways cleared of snow ... Citizens encountering winter parking ban
violations and winter snow ordinance violations are encouraged to report

LOCK YOUR CARS – DON’T LEAVE THEM RUNNING OR UNSECURED!
Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys
in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the
Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways &
parking lots.
On Tuesday 3/6/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
• Missing Person Juan ESPINAL / 41 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 3/6/18)
– Subject last seen walking from home on Oak Street on 2/24/18
•
Evading MV – Rpt’d Tues @ 3:57 AM / Church St – Vehicle struck Street
lamp post, tree and bench – Vehicle debris indicates a “tan” NV was
involved – Vehicle will have obvious missing parts and heavy front end
damage
• Shoplifting Suspect – Rpt’d Tues at 5:22 AM / Cumbies N.
Main St – Suspect fled in MV and struck employee in leg with car as
leaving – Described as older silver vehicle / Partial CT Reg plate of
“AL520” provided
