Gunntown Rd in the area Towantic Hill Rd. is closed in both directions due to a fatal motor vehicle accident investigation.
The accident occurred at about 11:15 AM and involved two vehicles. The
vehicles were each occupied by the drivers only. The operator of one of
the vehicles was found to be deceased upon arrival of emergency
responders and the second operator was transported to a local hospital
with serious injuries.

Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision. Gunntown Rd will be
closed for the next several hours, please plan ahead and utilize
alternate routes to avoid being delayed.
