WEATHER:

LOCK YOUR CARS – DON’T LEAVE THEM RUNNING OR UNSECURED!
Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways & parking lots.

On Wednesday 2/21/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
• Vandalism – To Residence – Rubber Ave home had fresh damage to door, may have been an attempted break in
• Suspicious person – Gun shots in area of Longview Terrace coming from Water Co. Property at about 12:22 PM. Male subject dressed in “camouflage” observed by caller. Area searched by police with no contact – Maple Hill School was placed on a precautionary lockdown during the incident.
