2/1/18 NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT

Good Thursday Everyone …

WEATHER:
Mostly cloudy early then periods of showers this afternoon. High 44F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.... Tonight Occasional light rain. Snow may mix in. Low 23F. SSW winds shifting to NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

LOCK YOUR CARS – DON’T LEAVE THEM RUNNING OR UNSECURED!
Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways & parking lots.

On Wednesday 1/31/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• EVADING MV – Clark Rd - Silver Nissan Altima struck by light colored sedan that continued up Clark Rd
• EVADING MV - May Street - Vehicle traveling east on May Street was struck by another vehicle traveling westbound that crossed the center line. The victim was unable to get a description of the vehicle or the driver.
