The NPD reminds citizens to please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways & parking lots.

On Thursday 1/11/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Vandalism – Residence – Vacant home on Osborn Rd Appears to have been broken into and pipes stolen causing flooding in the home
• Shoplifting – Sunoco – 531 N. Main Street – Store reported a Male subject came in and took cigarettes – No clothing or further description provided
