****ARMED ROBBERY ****
On October 9th 2014 at approximately 2:00 AM, Naugatuck police responded to the Cumberland Farms Store, located at 527 North Main Street on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. An employee stated that two males entered the store wearing hoodies and masks, pointed a shot gun at him and demanded cash from the stores cash register.
The employee advised that he handed over cash from the register and that the males fled the store on foot headed south towards Woodbine Street.
No further information regarding this incident is available at this time. We will release additional information as it becomes available.
