Hi again everyone,
Responses to my post this morning had a few comments concerning the upcoming 31st HARVEST MOON FESTIVAL – so I had to make sure I mentioned it fully.
This event is one of those that everyone in the Borough looks forward to all year long. The festival will be held on the Naugatuck Town Green on Friday September 19, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday September 20, 2014 from 9a.m. to 8 p.m.
This annual festival is a family oriented, Naugatuck – centered activity and will feature over 100 craft vendors. There will be great food - such as Fried Dough, Pulled Pork sandwiches, Cotton Candy… and of course – the D word’s!!!
There will be activities for the Kids, and demonstrations by the Boys Scouts of America Troop 102. A wide variety of entertainment will take place, on both days at the Gazebo.
Please make time to get down to this event this weekend on the Naugatuck Town Green - and while your down there, please be sure to say hello to our officers as they make their rounds through the festival.
