Good Thursday morning all,
Its looking to be another hot one, also have the chance of some passing showers and storms … please remember to slow down in the rain … particularly at the start of any sudden down pours as the road can become very slick in a short amount of time due to road surface oils …..
With the hot weather comes some added responsibility …. Now, most people think that the HOT weather simply means a switch to iced coffee ….however ….its more complicated than that …. Did you know that a basic jelly donut can have up to 310 calories …EACH?? …. Not to mention that a boston cream donut can have nearly 311 calories??? ….. No, none of this has anything to do with the heat …I’m just a cop standing in D&D while I’m typing this and sometimes my mind wanders off the subject a bit …… any way, back to the heat …. And the added responsibility ….. By the way, I went with the D&D Lemon Donut …. Only 270 Calories … and the added fruit content ….. well …. Let me just stop right there ….. I seemed to have wandered off the path again…..Anyway ….Please make sure to stay hydrated and limit strenuous activities …. & Utilize the shade …. In doors, make sure to check on the elderly and those without A/C …. And if you’re out in the vehicle, remember to NEVER keep your vehicle running unattended – and to NEVER leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle …. And Please ….LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK!!
