This warm weather is continuing … but I must admit it is a little dry out there … lawns are looking like hay fields …. I’d hate to say this but maybe a quick passing shower … preferably in the middle of the night might do us some good … okay … enough “rain” talk – Lets just enjoy the heat, let the grass fry and don’t forget to wear your sunglasses!!
A vehicle was taken from the South Main Mobil station early this morning (Black Toyata Rav4) … owner went in to grab a coffee … and came out to a stolen cup holder …that was contained within his stolen vehicle … please folks – turn the cars off & secure them … nothings worse than walking home with a hot coffee in the middle of the night …. (we actually gave him a ride home – but you know where I’m going with this…)
We also had a couple larcenies listed below – along with some vandalism issues … while the slogan predominantly aimed at terrorism … we urge you all ….“if you see something - say something” …. Please report any suspicious activity to us as soon as possible so we can check them out!
Finally – as of this posting we have a missing 15 year old female out – teenager Amanda Stevens left her residence yesterday after being disciplined and has not returned home. She is known to frequent the Central Ave. school area … if anyone has any information on her whereabouts – please contact us ….
