Good Monday morning all,
We are preparing to turn the weather corner folks … I cant “feel” it yet …but I am “Feeling” it…if you know what I mean!! … The weather man says rain today and tomorrow and then temps will be more “seasonal” …I must admit – I’m not really sure what the term “seasonal” really means any more in Connecticut … but it looks to be getting warmer according to the weather reports!!
The NPD had a very busy weekend – as promised, the traffic unit was out along with the patrol division enforcing the distracted driving laws … you will notice that 98 motor vehicle stops were made over the weekend – most of these stops were “distracted driving” related … although some did turn into more serious offenses (IE: see MV Arrests and DWI Arrests ….) …
Another area we want to make everyone aware of is a few reports of damaged motor vehicles … None of the damages were major however we received three damaged car reports as follows:
4/8/16 from Forrest Street, 4/9/16 from 110 Thunderbird Drive and 4/10 from Grove Street … as always we ask that everyone be on the lookout for any persons or vehicles that look suspicious and to immediately report those to the police …
The weekend NPD Call Activity Report is attached with some of the reports highlights posted below:
