Good Thursday morning all,
The weather today is going to be cooler but no rain or snow and there doesn’t look to be any predicted over the next few days and into the weekend…which is always good this time of year!
The NPD conducted moderate motor vehicle enforcement in several problem areas yesterday. This enforcement was conducted on all shifts – One of the offenses officers found numerous violations for is the distracted driving law. The NPD would like to remind citizens that use of an electronic device while driving is considered to be distracted driving…please put the cell phones down and do not text until you are finished driving ….and if you must talk and drive you must do so with a hands free device.
