Its ground hog day…time to do it all over again! … We WILL be getting an early spring as Chuckles the Groundhog did not see her shadow!! … Good news as far as I’m concerned!
The Naugatuck PD call activity report is attached covering Monday 2/1/16 (06:30 AM – 06:30 AM). Here are some of the highlights from that report:
We had a reported stolen vehicle last night at about 12:00 Midnight from 320 Scott Street. The vehicle owner advised that his neighbor alerted him that he saw two un known males pushing the car down the street. Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle left on the corner of Scott Street and Andrew Ave.. The first arriving officers observed two subjects flee from the vehicle. A K9 track was conducted however the subjects were not located. The subjects were described by witnesses as:
Suspect 1# - Thin build male approx. 19-24 Years old wearing a black hooded sweatshirt (Hood pulled over head).
Suspect #2 - Thin build male approx. 19-24 Years old, 5'9" tall wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up over his head) and long pants.

There was also two vandalism's to cars reported yesterday, cars were damaged at a business located on High Street and another car had paint on it on Carriage drive. If anyone has information on these incidents please contact NPD at the numbers above.
