PRESS RELEASE
The
lockdown at Naugatuck high school has been lifted after police dogs
conducted a sweep of the building and determined that there was no
credible threat.
The school was lockdown at about 11:00 AM
after it received a bomb threat that was phoned in. The Naugatuck PD
will continue its investigation into the origin of the call.

At approx. 11:00 AM this morning Naugatuck High School
received a bomb threat that was phoned in. The Naugatuck PD is investigating
with administrators from the Naugatuck Board of Education.
All students are safe and the school has been placed into a “Code
Yellow” status, meaning that all students are to stay in place within the building.
No further information is available at this time as this is
an active investigation, however an update will follow as soon as additional
information is received.
