Ok Everyone…It Is Time!!!....
.....The votes are in and the results are final…The Winner of the NPD’s Got Talent – No Shave November competition has been determined… Now, I’d like to take a moment and thank all the officers that participated in No Shave November through the Naugatuck Police Union…. The union used all of the funds to go towards our local food bank to help those in need within our own community…. Next I would like to thank all of the officers that participated in the NPD’s Got talent contest, I know the long hours of rehearsal and time spent on costumes was well spent….
So – On with the results….. Coming in third with 25 “Likes” – the boys worked it so hard and came up just a little short…. But what a great effort….. Det. Paul ‘Sideways Frown” Markette and Sgt. Randy “Big Cheesy Smile” Ireland …. Great effort boys!!!
Coming in as the runner up, with 29 “Likes” .. Lt. Brian Newman and the boys from second shift …. Sgt. Dan Norck, Officers Kosky, Kehoss and Julian … Great musical lesson boys – We will all never look at our thanksgiving dinner the same way …..Thank you!!
And the winner of the “NPD’s Got Talent – No Shave November” Competition is ………. Sgt. Mark “He’s got the Funk” Pettinicchi and Officer Matt “What the heck is in your mouth” DaSilva… These boys were simply magic in all their acts, be it on blades, wheels or those oh-so- light dancing feet… and what a come from behind victory – as these boys were DEAD LAST during our latest poll conducted over the weekend!!
… To celebrate their Victory, the boys will perform one last dance “The Macareindeer” … Congratulations Boys… You are both True Wieners!!!! (PS… That was not mis-spelled!!)
