Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys
in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the
Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways &
parking lots.
On Thursday 2/15/18 the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
• Burglary – Rpt’d at 5:23 PM – Home on Arch St was reported to have been burglarized sometime between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• Suspicious Person – An individual was reported to be soliciting for
“Eversource” at the Mattatuck Manor Apt’s on Spring St. at about 11:00
AM, Subject was asking residents for $50.00 – Subject described only as a
black male – Area checked periodically by police with no contact
• Vandalism – Forrest St / Residence - Wall in front of residence was reported to have been damaged
