2/12/18 NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT

Good Monday Everyone …

WEATHER:
Chance of a morning shower. Cloudy skies this morning will become partly cloudy this afternoon. High 41F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph…. Tonight Mainly clear. Low 19F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

LOCK YOUR CARS – DON’T LEAVE THEM RUNNING OR UNSECURED!
Please lock your cars and DO NOT leave your vehicle running with keys in the ignition – There have been numerous car thefts reported in the Naugatuck Valley area where cars have been stolen from driveways & parking lots.

On the 2/12/18 Weekend the Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest:
• Missing Person Christine CARRERO / 16 Yrs Old (Reported Missing on 2/5/18)
• Illegal Dumping – Hunters Mountain Rd – Rpt’d Sunday 2/11/18 at 9:00 AM – TV Dumped off roadway
• Attempted Larceny – Rubber Ave - On Sunday 2/11/18 at about 5:14 PM NPD responded to a complaint of a possible fuel siphoning larceny at Stop & Shop. The witness stated they observed a white male (20-30 Yrs Old with a thin build) with a white Chevy minivan parked close by. When approached the male suspect suddenly became nervous and the witness reported seeing a hose sticking out of his vehicle’s gas tank while another suspect placed a gas cap on his vehicle’s tank. The two parties left in the van.
• Vandalism / Attempted Larceny - Conrad St – (RPT’d Sat @ 3:15 PM) – Vehicle fuel fill door damaged from attempted fuel larceny.
